2009...So far, so good!

Mark and have had a great start to our 2009. We just returned from a week in beautiful Jamaica! It was the perfect way to start the new year...sun, water, sand and relaxation! A perfect combination. We spent our days sunning on the beach, reading, eating great food, drinking great beverages (Rum Runner, anyone?), playing pool, tennis, Scrabble and Quiddler, and listening to some fabulous reggae music. It was just what we needed to get ready for more work and more school.

Speaking of school, which has turned me into the world's worst blogger, I'm finding it much easier to give updates on my life over at facebook.com. So come on over, sign up, and add me as a friend! But beware, Facebook is a bit addicting and possibly a bit annoying at times (remember: you can always use the "ignore" feature - you'll see what I mean).

Happy 2009!

I'd say that I could covet that trip, but we were planning Cancun over the holidays and I just didn't get around to scheduling it. Now I've seen your pictures I'm kicking myself. Glad you had a great time. There's nothing like traveling to relax and rejuvenate, for sure. I love your little sand crab. At night in Phuket little transluscent sandcrabs cover the beach by thousands but you never step on them because they're so fast. It takes a few minutes to trust that you can walk a normal pace along the beach at night. Did you see them glisten in the moonlight?

That looks dreamy! I love Jamaica, but I don't think as much as you, as I didn't get married there :) Glad the semester is almost over. I was so happy to receive the test answers from you, I was relieved that I didn't need them! Good Luck on finals and then RELAX!!
