Twelve days of seeing trauma patients - car crashes, falls, gunshot wounds, bicycle crashes, lacerations - along with assorted complications - ARDS, heart failure, liver failure, brain hemorrhages and such. It was exhausting - 11 to 12 hour days - but it was such a good time. So it's back to real life now, with a bit less drama. And a lot more rest! :)

I love this place and all, but 12 hours for 12 days straight is a bit much (and by a bit I mean a lot).
